Floorplans are a great tool that allow prospective buyers to imagine how the space and layout of your property could work for them. They can visualise where their furniture might go, see how the rooms fit together, and how they might decorate and live in the property.
Like the property photos, this visualisation process allows buyers to develop an emotional connection to the property, which can be hugely beneficial when generating enquiries.
While not essential, floorplans help properties stick in the mind of potential buyers and can help pre- emptively answer questions they might have; they save time and help qualify the seriousness of the enquiries you receive.
Make sure your floorplan includes the dimensions of each room, plus a label that states what each room is. You can include things like the location of windows, doors and appliances, but it's optional. Create a floorplan for each level of the property separately so they're easy to view, and compile all floors on one document side-by-side.
Once completed, upload it in the floorplan section of the property listing creation process. Uploading here saves you a picture slot, and tells the property portals your property features a floorplan, which goes out in the alerts when your property goes live.
