Detached home on private traffic-free island in the River Thames between Hampton to the North and East Molesey to the South. Open-plan living area comprises lounge, dining area and kitchen. Plenty of walking space on both banks, with Bushy Park to the North and Hurst Park to the South. It is easy walking through Bushy Park to Hampton Hill, Hampton Wick, Kingston and Teddington. Walking distance to Hampton village (with station) and Bridge Street in the Hampton Court area (also with station). Garricks Ait is a community of 24 homes. The island has mains water and sewage, gas, electricity and broadband. Council tax Band A is paid to Elmbridge Borough Council. There are communal rubbish and recycling bins located in the car park at Hurst Park. I purchased the house in 2016, after which I extended forward by a metre and modernised.
